The latest updated in Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case has ruled out pregnancy signs. Her postmortem was done and reports suggest the actress wasn’t pregnant, according to senior officials. It is a suicide case and her body will be handed over tomorrow (December 26, Monday). Her postmortem was done and the body was kept at JJ Hospital and it was to be handed today. Alleged boyfriend Sheezan Khan has been sent to 4 days police custody at the Waliv Police Station. On Saturday morning, film and TV actor Tunisha Sharma had reported to the sets of the serial ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul’. During lunch break at 3pm, she reportedly went to use the toilet of lead co-actor Sheezan Khan’s make-up room. When she did not return till an hour later, staff went to call her for the shoot. She was found hanging inside the toilet

Sheezan Khan, arrested on the charge of abetting actor Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case, has told the police that he was stressed about the Shraddha Walkar murder and he broke up with his co-star Tunisha due to his religion.

Khan, who is currently in police custody, told Waliv Police that he was stressed following the murder of Shraddha Walkar by her live-in partner Aaftab Poonawala and decided to break-up with Tunisha Sharma. He also cited his religion and age as a reason to end the relationship.

As per the latest report, the police are likely to seek the custody of actor Sheezan Khan, and said he was not cooperating in the actress' suicide case. As per police, he did not answer on his alleged fight with the late actress and his rumoured girlfriend Tunisha. Meanwhile, Sheezan's lawyer and his sister are present at the Waliv police station.

During interrogation, Sheezan Khan also said that he rescued Tunisha Sharma after she attempted suicide a few days before her death.

Sheezan Khan, who plays the male lead in the show 'Ali Baba...', was arrested by the Mumbai Police on Saturday and will be produced before the court shortly today. As per the FIR, Tunisha and Sheezan were in a relationship for some time. Almost 15 days before the incident, Sheezan allegedly broke up with her which purportedly prompted her to commit suicide. The actress was suffering from anxiety and depression and after her break-up with Sheezan, she remained tensed. An ABPLive report claimed that the two also had a major fight almost five day before the actress claimed her life. 

Television actor Tunisha Sharma died by suicide on the set of a serial in Vasai in Maharashtra's Palghar district on Saturday. Her 27-year old co-actor and boyfriend was arrested for abetment of suicide.

The arrest came after Tunisha Sharma's mother in her complaint claimed her daughter and Sheezan Khan were in love and blamed the latter for her daughter's extreme step.

Further, Khan told the police that he had informed Tunisha's mother about the split and had asked her to take good care of her. The police are now verifying the facts behind the actor's statement.

On the day of the incident, Tunisha Sharma had taken a break from the shoot on the pretext of going to the washroom. The crew went on to look for her after she did not return after a long time. She was later found hanging.

Her last rites will be performed on Tuesday after the arrival of her aunt from England.
