In the year 2018, a woman from Delhi filed a case against Shahnawaz Hussain in Delhi court. In this, he said that in April 2018, Shahnawaz Hussain called him to the farm house in Chhatarpur. After this, the cold drink mixed with intoxicants was fed. Raped her in a state of unconsciousness.

However, BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain has termed this entire allegation as baseless. They are dismissive from this point. Shahnawaz Hussain had filed a petition against this case in the Delhi High Court to end the case. This petition was dismissed by the Delhi High Court. After this he went to the Supreme Court.
