Delhi Police Raids on News Click Premises: Delhi Police on Tuesday raided more than 30 premises related to the website News Click. After the raid, the police took some journalists with them. Police have also seized mobiles and laptops of journalists. Along with this, reactions of politicians have also started coming in the matter. Regarding the raid, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that I do not need to clarify anything here. If someone has done any wrong or has received money through wrong means, then the investigating agencies are completely free to investigate as per the prescribed guidelines.

China does not want to see India progress

While reacting to the raid by Delhi Police on the premises associated with News Click, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Dushyant Kumar Gautam said that strict action will be taken against News Click or any other agency which is working to break the country on funds received from abroad. Gautam said that China does not want to see our country progress and is trying to use anti-national agencies against the country.

Delhi Police has taken News Click writers Paranjoy Guha Thakurta and Urmilesh to the special cell offices in the national capital. Two senior police officers are also in the special cell premises. Sources said that the laptop, mobile, diary and other seized items have also been taken to a special cell in the police Lodhi Road office.
