The inauguration ceremony of Maasaheb Meenatai Thackarey hospital was held in the presence of CABINET Minister Eknath Shinde. Due to the launch of Prescription Free Scheme through Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, under this scheme, patients undergoing treatment at Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation are given relief notes prescribed by the doctor and the drug will not have to be purchased from the medical shop by providing such medicine free of cost through the corporation. MP Rajan Vichare along with CABINET Minister Eknath Shinde, NaviMumbai Municipal Commissioner Abhijeet Bangar, Shiv Sena corporator and ether post officer were present on the occasion. Eknath Shinde also told that 15-15 beds Medical ward 10 beds icu has been set up and people can benefit from it. Although there are 100-100 beds in both the nearby hospitals, 300 beds can be provided.
