More than 85 people died in Yemen's capital Sana'a on the last day of the month of Ramadan due to a stampede in the program of distribution of zakat i.e. financial aid. More than 322 people were injured. The condition of 13 of the injured is serious. The Interior Ministry, which is under the control of the Houthi forces, said that the event was organized by traders there without the help of the local administration. A large number of poor people participated in it.
