The Tamil Nadu government has made public the investigation report into the death of former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. The report casts doubts on the role of Jayalalithaa's close friend Sasikala. At the same time, a senior officer including his personal doctor is also under suspicion. Retired judge A.K. to probe Jayalalithaa's death. A one-member committee was formed under the chairmanship of Arumughasamy. This committee submitted a 500-page report to the state government.

Death occurred in 2016, the reason was told to heart attack

Jayalalithaa died on 5 December 2016 at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. She was hospitalized for about 2 months. She was the Chief Minister at that time. A heart attack was cited as the cause of death in the medical bulletin. The special thing is that Sasikala was present with Jayalalithaa till her death due to falling ill.
