In that regard, the commissioner directed in the review meeting of department heads to publish the list of hawkers who have undergone biometric survey available at the concerned department office, instruct the hawkers who have not availed the space and ask them to contact the office with the documents and distribute the lotteries. After reviewing the buildings constructed by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation and not in use at present, the Commissioner ordered to submit the report in the next meeting and directed to take concrete steps to bring the properties of the Municipal Corporation into use.

He also suggested that the necessary committee should be constituted promptly for this purpose.

Similarly, due to the dumping of debris and garbage on the unused plots in the municipal area, there is a hindrance in the cleanliness of the city and in this regard, a letter has been given to CIDCO and other authorities through the circle offices to protect the plots. The commissioner directed the deputy commissioners of both the circles to follow up the action in this regard.

Informing the engineering department to complete the ongoing school repair work this week, the commissioner also ordered to promptly complete the new buildings of the schools at Ghansoli and Yadavnagar and take action to make the schools operational. On this occasion, the Commissioner gave instructions to take action to bring the auditoriums in some schools into use.

Considering the rainy season, it was also suggested to check whether there is waste material on the terraces of municipal buildings, especially school buildings and dispose of it properly.

It was also directed through the commissioner that the pending retirement cases should be settled without delay and that the details regarding the same should be given in the next meeting so that the officers and employees retiring from the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation service get their post-retirement benefits immediately.

In terms of city security, CCTVs are being installed in the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation area and the commissioner also directed that priority should be given to installing CCTVs in parks in terms of park security.

The inauguration of the Wonders Park has been auspicious of the Chief Minister and considering the possibility of people coming to see the Wonders Park in large numbers, the Commissioner also directed that the arrangement of the place should be kept in order.

Cleanliness and beautification is the main identity of our city and directing more attention to city cleanliness, cleanliness is not limited to solid waste management department but should be an important issue for every officer and employee in any department of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation and everyone should be aware of it.
