U19 World Cup 2024 Schedule: ICC on Monday released the schedule of next year's Under 19 Cricket World Cup. This tournament will be organized in South Africa. A total of 16 teams including India will participate in it. This tournament will start from January 19. Whereas the final match will be played on 11th February. February 12 has been reserved for the final match.

When will India's first match take place?

In this tournament, Team India will play its first match against Bangladesh on 20 January. India has been placed in Group A along with Bangladesh, Ireland and USA. There will be a total of 41 matches in this tournament. In the league stage, teams will play 1-1 matches with the teams of their group. Then the Super-6 matches will be different between Group A and D, Group B and C. Ultimately, 2-2 teams from each Super-6 will qualify for the semi-finals. The winning teams of the semi-finals will face each other in the final on 11 February.

There will be war between India and Pakistan!

Let us tell you that in the group stage of this tournament, the teams of India and Pakistan are in different groups. But both the teams can clash in Super 6. India is in Group A and Pakistan in Group D. In Super 6, 3 teams from Group A and 3 teams from Group D will come and face each other. Therefore, there can be a competition between India and Pakistan in this round.

Team India is five-time champion

The Indian team has won the Under-19 World Cup title five times. This tournament will be the Fifty Over World Cup. The Indian team last won the Under-19 World Cup under the captaincy of Yash Dhull. Many players of that team are currently associated with different franchises in IPL. Prithvi Shaw, Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan have also been part of the winning teams of Under-19 World Cup.
