German vehicle manufacturer BMW has launched two new diesel variants of its 2023 BMW X3 SUV for India – X3 xDrive20d xLine and X3 xDrive20d M, both of which have been indigenously developed with diesel engines. The ex-showroom price of this model xDrive20d xLine has been kept at Rs 67.50 lakh more. The price of the xDrive20d M Sport variant has been kept at Rs 69.90 lakh.

The new BMW X3 Diesel is available in 4 metallic colours namely Mineral White, Phytonic Blue, Brooklyn Gray and Black Sapphire. Also, it includes two dual-tone colour options Canberra Beige and Cognac with Black.

Design

Talking about the look of the new BMW X3 xLine, it will get sportier front and rear bumpers with the signature kidney grille, an LED headlight set-up, and redesigned tail-lights that extend till the boot, gloss black finish on the roof rails and M branding on the interiors. given. While the xLine variant gets aluminium-finished roof rails, 19-inch bicolour-style alloy wheels have been given. Whereas Y-spoke style alloy wheels are available in M Sport.

Features

The BMW X3 gets features like the Harman-Kardon sound system, panoramic sunroof and 12.3-inch infotainment system with support for BMW iDrive. The M Sport variant gets more features like a head-up display, 3D view surround camera and gesture controls. The M Sport gets aluminium and pearl chrome interiors.

Powertrain

The new BMW X3 is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine, which is capable of producing 190bhp power and 400Nm peak torque at 1,750-2,500rpm. Its top speed is 213 kmph. This car is capable of accelerating from 0-100 kmph in just 7.9 seconds. This powertrain is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox with all-wheel drive. The Xline variant does not get dynamic damper control, which is available in the M Sport variant of the X3.

Competes with Audi Q5

The car competes with the Audi Q5, which gets a 2.0L petrol engine with all-wheel drive system, which generates power of 245.59 bhp. Its ex-showroom price starts from Rs.60.50 lakhs.
