Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 Breaks Records with Over 3.5 Crore Participants
The 8th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC), a flagship initiative by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has set a new record with over 3.5 crore students, teachers, and parents participating in its registration. This nationwide initiative transforms exam-related stress into a celebration of learning, fostering a positive mindset toward education.
Record Registrations and Nationwide Engagement
The registration for PPC 2025 took place on the MyGov.in portal from December 14, 2024, to January 14, 2025. This unprecedented response highlights the program’s growing impact, both in India and internationally, as a movement to support mental well-being and inspire resilience among students.
An Event Celebrating Education
PPC, an annual interactive event organized by the Department of School Education and Literacy under the Ministry of Education, has become a key moment in the educational calendar. The 7th edition in 2024, held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, in a town hall format, received widespread praise for its engaging discussions and valuable insights.
PPC 2025: Activities and Celebrations
To amplify its impact, a series of school-level activities began on January 12, 2025 (National Youth Day), and will continue until January 23, 2025 (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti). These activities aim to inspire holistic development and promote a festival-like approach to exams. Key activities include:
Sessions on indigenous games
Marathon runs
Meme competitions
Nukkad Natak performances
Yoga and meditation sessions
Poster-making contests
Screenings of inspirational films
Mental health workshops and counseling sessions
Cultural performances by CBSE, KVS, and NVS students
Through these events, PPC 2025 reinforces its core message: examinations should be celebrated as opportunities for growth and learning, not sources of stress. By turning exams into an Utsav (festival), the initiative continues to inspire millions, ensuring education is viewed as a joyful and transformative journey.
