Panvel: Ramsheth Thakur helped 25 lakhs in the Mayor relief fund

Former MP, Ramsheth Thakur has donated Rs 25 lakh for the Mayor's Assistance Fund. He handed over the check to the Mayor of Panvel Municipal Corporation, Handed it over to Dr.Kavita Chautmol today .

BJP's North Raigad district president MLA Prashant Thakur, taluka president Arun Bhagat and assembly leader Paresh Thakur were present on the occasion. Whether it was a flood or a corona epidemic or any natural calamity, Ramsheth Thakur always thought of the common man and gave the best help and that tradition of help continues to this day.

The Mayor's Assistance Fund has been made available to the economically weaker sections for medical reasons as well as for the citizens of Panvel Municipal Corporation area due to accidents or natural calamities through public participation.

The fund will provide financial assistance to the economically weaker needy for serious ailments like Covid-19, heart disease, brain related treatment as well as surgery, cancer related surgery, leukemia, thalassemia, tuberculosis, organ transplantation, dialysis, bone marrow.

Similarly, financial assistance will be provided to those affected by natural calamities, death due to accident or permanent injury, permanent disability. Former MP Ramsheth Thakur has maintained his social commitment by providing Rs 25 lakh for the Mayor's Assistance Fund to alleviate the needs of the weaker sections.
