The survivor, who had initially left Pune, decided to file a complaint after a conversation with a friend encouraged them to take legal action.
According to police sources, the incident took place at the Swargate State Transport (ST) Terminus, one of the busiest bus depots in the city. The survivor, whose identity has been kept confidential for legal and safety reasons, alleged that they were attacked at the terminus premises. The exact time and circumstances of the crime are currently under investigation.
Upon receiving the complaint, Pune police have launched a thorough probe into the case. CCTV footage from the terminus is being reviewed, and authorities are working to identify and apprehend the suspect(s) involved. Law enforcement officials have assured that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure justice for the survivor.
