Lucknow, March 26: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has stated that the safety of Hindus in the state directly ensures the safety of Muslims as well. Speaking at a public event, the Chief Minister emphasized the government's commitment to law and order, stating that equal security for all communities is essential for maintaining harmony.
He highlighted that under his administration, Uttar Pradesh has witnessed a reduction in communal tensions and crime. "Our priority is to ensure peace and security for every citizen, regardless of their religion. When law and order are strong, every community benefits," he remarked.
His statement comes in response to ongoing discussions about religious harmony and governance in the state. While some have welcomed his remarks as a call for unity, others believe that more concrete measures are needed to promote inclusivity.
The Uttar Pradesh government continues to focus on policies aimed at development and security, with officials reiterating that communal peace remains a top priority.
