March 21, 2025 — Music icons Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reportedly exploring legal avenues in response to recent social media posts by Kanye West that targeted their children, Rumi and Sir Carter. West's now-deleted posts included derogatory comments questioning the mental capacity of the couple's seven-year-old twins.
A source close to the Carters described West's remarks as "vulgar and offensive," stating that the couple found it "shocking" for him to speak about their children in such a manner. They are currently deliberating on how to address the situation, considering both private discussions and potential legal action. At this time, they have no plans to publicly comment on the matter.
West initially deleted the controversial post but later reposted it, explaining that the temporary removal was to prevent his account from being canceled.
This incident has also drawn reactions from others close to the situation. Kim Kardashian, West's ex-wife, has expressed her disapproval of his actions, with sources indicating she is "appalled" by his use of vulgar language concerning children.
As of now, representatives for Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Kanye West have not issued official statements regarding the incident.
